City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey May 13-21, 2003.
Company
background. Diehl,
Inc.’s domestic food processing facilities manufacture evaporated milk and
sweetened condensed milk in cans for retail and foodservice customers. Diehl
manufactures a full line of non-dairy powders, creamers, whipped topping bases,
and shortening powders that are used industrially by other food processors.
Current
Markets.
The company sells private labels to retail channels including supermarkets,
warehouse clubs, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program, U.S. Department of
Agriculture, and specialty food markets. In foodservice, Diehl sells to
distributors, institutional handlers and food manufacturing companies.
Industrial powders are sold directly to other food processors that incorporate
these products in their formulas. Diehl’s technical staff works directly with
customers to determine which products best fit their needs.
