Governor Bob Taft’s trade mission, May 13-21, 2003, Buckeye Valley Foods Co.,
Inc., will visit Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey to further international
trade for their company and Ohio agriculture. The company wants to establish a
relationship with a reputable agent in Mexico to sell factory-direct to
manufacturers there.

Buckeye Valley Foods Company manufactures sweet dairy whey, a by-product of
cheese that has applications for foods such as snack foods, ice cream, infant
formula, beverages, baking, and animal feeds.
Products.
The company makes several different types of cheese including Swiss, Cheddars
and Mozzarella, and blends products. Dry ingredient blending can be done with a
day ribbon blender, which is beneficial for ready-to-use packaging.
