Trader Joe's Company of Monrovia, California is recalling Trader Joe's Pork Gyoza,code 2594DL1 , because the bag of the pork filled gyoza has the potential to contain shrimp gyoza, too. The product code can be found on the bottom left corner of the bag. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to shellfish run the risk of a serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. Gyoza is also known as an Asian dumpling, or potsticker. There have been no reports of illness or injury associated with this product.

Trader Joe's Pork Gyoza were potentially sold from Trader Joe's retail stores in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia & Washington.

This recall is a result of a discovery of shrimp gyoza mixed in with pork gyoza. This product code was removed from sale in all Trader Joe's stores.
