Amendt Corporation Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Non Fat Dry Milk
and Egg Whites in County Fare White Cake Mix and BakerGirl White Cake Mix 

Monroe, MI - Amendt Corporation, Monroe, Michigan, is recalling 18.5 oz. boxes of White Cake Mix, sold under the brand names County Fare and BakerGirl. They may contain undeclared Non Fat Dry Milk, and Egg Whites. People who have allergies to Non Fat Dry Milk, and Egg Whites run the risk of allergic reaction if they consume these products. 

The recalled White Cake Mix was distributed Nationwide. The product comes in an 18.5 oz. carton with the following expiration dates: 09/20/2002 through 12/31/2003. 

One complaint has been reported to date of an allergic reaction with this problem.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the Baker Girl White Cake Mix product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of Non Fat Dry Milk and Egg Whites. 

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged to discard the product and return the Box Top with Date Code to:
