Mission:

The mission of the Serology Section is to provide diagnostic serology test services to Ohio veterinarians and producers in an effort to support food animal commodities including the pork, beef, and dairy industries. This section also provides disease monitoring for both state and federal regulatory programs.

Services:

The following tests are currently available in the Serology section:

• Anaplasmosis (CF, Card, ELISA)

• Bluetongue virus (AGID, CF, ELISA)

• Bovine Leukosis virus (AGID, ELISA)

• Brucella abortus (BAPA, SPT, RIVANOL, CARD, TUBE, BRT MILK, CF)

• Brucella ovis (CF, ELISA)

• Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis (AGID, ELISA)

• Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease (AGID)

• Equine Igm West Nile Virus (ELISA)

• Equine Infectious Anemia virus (AGID, ELISA)

• Leptospirae (MAT 6 SEROVARS)

• Mycobacterium paratuberculosis (ELISA, AGID, CF)

• Mycoplasma Hyopneumoniae (ELISA)

• Ovine Progressive Pneumonia (AGID)
