Welcome to the Ohio Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab website.

The ADDL is a full-service, all species animal disease diagnostic facility which provides diagnostic expertise to veterinarians for food animals, horses, small animals, and exotic species. The diagnostic lab also provides increasing support to Ohio's on-farm food safety programs, and is the only veterinary diagnostic lab in Ohio that is accredited by the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians.

The laboratory offers 310 different diagnostic tests and completes 600,000 analyses per year. Services offered include avian serology, bacteriology, molecular diagnostics, pathology, serology, toxicology, and virology. The ADDL's mission is to provide high caliber veterinary diagnostic services as well as credible, reliable disease surveillance information to Ohio's veterinarian and livestock producers. Through experience, state-of-the-art facilities and a client oriented approach, the ADDL recognizes that success doesn't just happen......it's planned.
