Ayers Family Farm

Eugene & Peggy Ayers 

Springfield, Clark County 

Established in 1820          

This century farm is full of history- arrowheads have been found on the farm and the original deed is on goat skin.

 

Barnthouse Family Farm

Francis & Belva Barnthouse

Mason, Warren County

Established in 1894

This farm manages beef cattle and hogs, in addition to grain crops.

Northwest

Bridenbaugh Family Farm

Idella, Dale & Daryl Bridenbaugh Pandora, Putnam County           

Established in 1855

This century farm includes a completely restored one room schoolhouse. Brothers Dale and Daryl manage a contract hog operation, 30 head of cattle and grain crop production.

 

Sun Web Farm

Paul & Marcena Sundermeier

Bowling Green, Wood County

Established in 1896          

This farm is almost 100 percent no-till and is farmed by Paul and his two sons, Keith and Lee.

Southeast

Barthelmas Family Farm

Marguerite & Steve (son) Barthelmas

Circleville, Pickaway County

Established in 1868

This farm was selected by the Ohio Family Farm Heritage as a historic homestead in 1985. The farm produces cattle and grain crops.

 

Alt Family Farm

Florence, Daniel & Betsy Alt

Baltimore, Fairfield County

Established in 1893

The Alts have an extensive history in Fairfield County and currently run a beef cow/calf operation along with grain crops and a small flock of sheep.

Northeast

Heidlebaugh Family Farm

Rollin & Gloria Heidlebaugh

Lexington, Morrow County
Established in 1831          

Rollin and son, Randy, milk Holsteins, raise hogs, and grow a variety of crops. Cropland is currently farmed by Rollin’s niece, Diane, and her husband Steve.

 

Hickory Grove Farms, Inc.

Jean, Jim, Frank, Mark & Kathy McConnell

Wellington, Lorain County

Established in 1892          

This century farm has a rich history with the Ayrshire breed of dairy cattle. Brothers Jim, Mark, and Frank manage 1800 acres of grain crops and a Pioneer Seed Dealership in addition to housing replacement heifers.
